    ***********

AUTORR FOUNDATION is setting up a Rest & Recreation Centre for Senior Citizens to rediscover their lives and to restore hope in their 'golden years'. Many of us have old folks or come across senior citizens that do nothing besides staying at home watch TV and taking care of grand children when their sons and daughters are out pursuing their career. Most young adults do not have time for their own parents or grandparents and because of this we often hear the seniors feeling frustrated, lonely, neglected and unappreciated.

The Centre is a non-racial, non-religious and non-profit organisation. It is set up with lots of activities in mind for the seniors to participate and to keep them occupied and active. The Centre has an adult education centre, activity centre whereby all workshops sessions like Healthy Living and Eating Right for your age, Flower arrangement, Chess, Psycological help for the depressed will be conducted, a holistic and meditation centre and etc.

Besides this, the Centre also stresses on activities that involves the senior citizens and their family during school holidays or festivals. The Centre will also be working to cater for orphans who can come and participate in the activities with the eldery. Autorr Foundation wants to bridge the gap between the orphans and the eldery because orphans do not get emotional care that can be provided by a parent. The elderly can take up a mentoring role and share lifelong education and give emotional support to the orphans.

The building of the Centre is now completed, however we still need funds to facilitate and equip the Centre. We hope through this event, with your kindness and generousity to support this cause, we can acheive our goals and help to make this Centre a success by bringing a new hope and happiness to the Senior Citizens and Orphans!

You are welcome to visit the Centre to find out how you can help us or may browse through our website www.autorrfoundation.com for more information about the Centre.

A geeky and somewhat timid Karim meets Grey for an interview. Grey, a theatre producer who is looking for a personal assistant, is appalled with Karim’s lacklustre demeanour: no wonder the boy has not found work, just look at him! He tells Karim the story of “Hello Dolly” where Cornelius and Barnaby present themselves as millionaires to attract their dream girls; thus, our journey through Broadway begins. Featuring hit songs from musicals “Hello Dolly”, Miss Saigon, Annie, A Chorus Line and many, many more; “DanSing Thru Broadway” promises to be entertainment and fun for the whole family.
